Police Lt. Jack Diaz joined us to review the crime statistics for our neighborhood. Also took many questions from members regarding specific areas. Most importantly, he urged us to be the "eyes & ears" to assist TPD in reducing crime.
We were also joined by Tony Disisto, candidate for Dist. 4 City Council, Tony Buntyn, candidate for the 11th Congressional District and Linda Saul-Sena, candidate for countywide seat on County Commission.

Again this month Police Lt. Jack Diaz joined to review the neighborhood crime activity and discuss issues expressed by the members.
We were also joined by Council Chairman Tom Scott, a candidate for Mayor. He discussed his visions for the future of our City.

Police Officers Gutierrez & Book discussed the latest crime figures for our area and reminded us that we are "The Eyes & Ears" of the police and to report any suspicious activity immediately.
County Commissioner Mark Sharpe was our guest speaker and gave a lengthy discussion regarding the transportation issues facing our area now and in the future.

A Community Yard & Craft sale was held at our Civic Center. As the photos indicate, there was an excellent turn-out with the smoker going and were joined by a very special guest Ms. Stacy Frank, candidate for Florida House District 57.

Our very special guest was the Honorable Faye Culp who, after serving as our Dist. 57 Representative for 12 years, was term limited out. She spoke of her many accomplishments during her tenure and received many many thanks from our members. She will be missed as she was a great friend and supporter of the Gandy Community.
We were also joined by candidates Sally Harris School Board, Joseph Citro City Council Dist. 4, Sandy Murman County Commission Dist. 1 and Julie Jenkins City Council Dist. 4. All were given floor time to discuss their views regarding the positions they were seeking

Our Civic Center was used for a campaign event sponsored by Sandy Murman, Sally Harris, Dana Young and Mike Prendergast with a special appearance by Lt. Gov. candidate Ms. Jennifer Carroll.
